Volvo Cars falls as it withdraws 2026 guidance on volume, cash flow
BUZZ-Volvo Cars falls as it withdraws 2026 guidance on volume, cash flow ** Shares in Sweden-based Volvo Cars VOLCARb.ST fall around 4% after it said it will not fulfill its previous FY outlook statements on volume and cash flow
** "This is partly expected because we've seen that the market have been very tough...additionally my sense is that the ramp-up of the EX60 is more problematic than they actually expected," Handelsbanken analyst Hampus Engellau says
** As a result of the increased market uncertainty, the company has also taken the decision not to provide any updated short-term forward-looking statement
** It says withdrawing the near-term outlook statements has no impact on long-term ambitions, including reaching strong positive cash flows and structurally building toward an 8% EBIT margin
** Volvo Cars shares are down around 52% YTD
